It is important to block the file Chief Architect Premier X10.exe in firewall.

I used the host file blocking method instead of the firewall, if I run into problems Ill go with the firewall block.

Nice touch using a modified program executable instead of the patch.

Win10 always flags the patch as a trojan and I have to make an exception for it, with the modified program.exe file, windows is AOK.

Please address that it cannot open a file it needs in the AppData folder.
